成大雙語教學與研究團隊榮幸邀請到Ofelia García教授,將於10/3舉辦一場論壇。

 

 關於Ofelia García教授

García教授因其在雙語教育、語言政策方面的開創性研究和影響而聞名於世。她透過其革命性的「動態雙語主義」和「跨語言使用」概念,對當今多語主義和語言社會學的理解產生了重大影響。

 

 下午的圓桌對談

下午的圓桌對談將會由來自臺灣中小學及大學的雙語第一線教師與專家學者和Prof. García對談。這次的對話將連接理論與實踐,賦能教育工作者在雙語和多語情境中應對挑戰和可能性。

 

The NCKU Bilingual Education and Research Group is honored to announce a special hybrid forum titled "Beyond Bilingualism: Nurturing Plurilingual Ecology through Bilingual Education in Taiwan". This landmark event is graced by the visit of Professor Ofelia García, a luminary in the fields of bilingual/multilingual education and policy.

About Professor Ofelia García

Professor García is internationally renowned for her pioneering work in bilingual education, language policy, and the education of racialized students. She has significantly influenced contemporary understandings of multilingualism and the sociology of language through her ground-breaking concepts of dynamic bilingualism and translanguaging. Her scholarly contributions offer a nuanced understanding of the complex language practices of bi/multilingual students and have been the topic of numerous impactful publications.

Afternoon Roundtable

Our afternoon session will feature a roundtable discussion with bilingual practitioners across various educational levels—elementary, junior high, senior high, and universities.
